Imma Vallverdú, a trademark designer, was born in Barcelona in 1981. After obtaining the degree in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona, she begins her education in fashion design at High School of Design and Fashion Felicidad Duce. In the last course as student she takes part in different Spanish fashion competitions with her final project. The most important success in this period is the opportunity, in 2007, to create her own trademark, thanks to Projecte Bressol (Project Cradle) of the Generalitat de
Catalunya (Catalonia’s Autonomous Government), in order to help young fashion
designers finance their own firm.
Imma Vallverdú moves to the town of Tarragona where she sets up
her atelier in 2008. Since then, she has awoken national and international interest and has taken part
in fairs such as Bread & Butter (Barcelona 2008) and 080 Barcelona Fashion Week (Barcelona 2008).
